St Clears Town Council Community Events Chest

Does your community group need funding support for an event?

St Clears Town Council has a Community Events Chest to support St Clears based groups that are organising community events, with the aim to get more local people involved in community activities and attract visitors to our area. The money for the fund has been made available from the Council's budget.
The fund is for £3000 and will run from April 2022 to March 2023.
The Fund is intended to support local and small-scale events across the whole of the St Clears Town Council area, including Pwll Trap and Bancyfelin and which are of benefit to local residents and contribute towards the wider community and local economy.


Your organisation must:
  • be a voluntary, community or faith group
  • be properly constituted
  • have a bank account
  • be open and accessible to the community
The fund is being managed by the Community, Finance and General Purpose Committee of St Clears Town Council, which meets every month. After the Committee has met the recommendations for funding will be submitted to the full Town Council for approval. All groups applying for funding will be written to directly to confirm the outcome of their application. All applications are considered in accordance with the Council’s Grant Awarding Policy
