RE: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: ST CLEARS LEVEL CROSSING, B4299 STATION ROAD, ST CLEARS.
A request has been received for the temporary road closure of St Clears level crossing, located on the B4299 Station Road, 900 meters north of its junction with Pentre Road for a distance of 10 meters either side of the level crossing.
The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst Network Rail carry out essential maintenance work from 22:00 hours Monday 5th July, 2021 to 06:00 hours Tuesday 6th July, 2021.
The alternative route for south bound traffic will be to proceed in a northerly direction along the B4299 to its junction with the U2050. At the junction, turn left and continue in a northerly direction along the U2050 to its junction with the C2015. At the junction, turn left and continue in a north westerly direction along the C2015 to its junction with the C3099. At the junction, turn left and continue in a south westerly direction along the C3099 to its junction with the C2001. At the junction, turn left and continue in a south easterly direction along the C2001 to its junction with the U2047. At the junction, turn left and continue in a south easterly direction along the U2047 to its junction with the B4299, Pendre Road. At the junction, turn left and continue in an easterly direction along the Pendre Road to its junction with the B4299, Station Road. At the junction, turn left and continue in a northerly direction along Station Road to return to a point south of the closure. Vice versa for north bound traffic.
