As part of the 10 Towns programme, commercial premises across the County's rural market towns could be eligible for financial support of up to £2000 to revitalise their shop front.
This is a targeted fund for premises located in designated areas of each rural market town. Applications from premises located outside of each town's designated area may be considered on a case by case basis should the project provide significant impact.
Who can apply?
- Freeholders and leaseholders are eligible.
- 20% match funding will be required from each applicant
What type of expenditure is eligible?
- Decoration of building
- Lighting
- Canopies (subject to planning permission)
- New bilingual signage
Timelines
- Applications must be submitted no later than 31 January 2024 to be considered.
- Those successful can commence works after being issued with a grant offer letter. Works undertaken before receiving a grant offer letter are not eligible.
- Projects must complete by end of September 2024.
- Please note expenditure incurred for works before a funding letter is issued is ineligible for support
