ST CLEARS & LLANFIHANGEL ABERCOWIN
St Clears Town Council currently has four vacancies for Councillors in the St Clears and Llanfihangel Abercowin ward which will be filled through the process of co-option.
Co-opted Councillors have exactly the same rights and responsibilities as Councillors who obtain office through election. Councillors are expected to attend the monthly meetings of the Council and can also be appointed to serve on a number of Committees.
The role is varied and enables local people to use their skills and experience to enhance the work undertaken by the Council for the benefit of the local community.
St Clears Town Council wishes to invite interested and eligible people to submit their applications for the role of Councillor by way of an application form outlining the following:
• the contribution you believe you could make to the work of the Council;
• the personal qualities that you would bring to the role;
• confirmation of your availability for attending meetings
